Procurex Scotland

Procurex Scotland 2020, featuring the Scottish Government 16th National Procurement Conference, takes place at SEC Glasgow on 27 October.

This single day is the highlight of the public procurement calendar in Scotland, providing participants with a unique opportunity to engage, connect and collaborate with a vast array of key buyers, planners, decision makers and influencers representing Scotland’s £11bn+ public sector marketplace, with the sole purpose of  creating a better Scotland for the future.

Procurex Scotland provides buyers engaged across Scotland’s public sector with an invaluable opportunity to meet with leading suppliers, who are actively delivering a diverse range of innovative products and services that can support both current and future procurement requirements.

Officially supported by Scottish Government, the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) and the Procurement Advice and Support Service (PASS), Procurex Scotland also provides a unique platform for buyers to enhance their skills through a range of CPD Certified training sessions, all of which are designed to support the development of procurement skills and capabilities.

The Scottish Government 16th National Procurement Conference will again give participants the chance to hear about future strategies, as well as updates on policies and initiatives to help achieve the new outcomes.

All GO Awards Scotland finalists receive VIP complimentary access to Procurex Scotland 2020.

GO Awards Scotland finalists will have exclusive access to a unique programme of talks at Procurex, at the GO Awards Excellence Zone. Chaired by Rona Dougal, Presenter and Journalist at Scotland Tonight, a panel of former GO Awards winners and other thought leaders in procurement will share their views on what makes for innovative and successful procurement, with an opportunity for audience questions and discussion.

The GO Awards Excellence Zone will provide the opportunity for networking with fellow finalists and procurement leaders from across the public, private and third sectors. Here Finalists will also be able to collect their GO Awards Finalist certificates. The GO Awards Media Corner will offer official photo opportunities, space for interviews and the chance to celebrate finalists’ achievement ahead of the black-tie presentation ceremony in the evening when the Award winners will be announced.

We have an exciting day planned for our VIP GO Award’s Finalists at Procurex Scotland and we cannot wait to help them celebrate their public procurement achievements.
