GO Awards Wales 2017/18

The countdown is now on to this year’s Government Opportunities (GO) Excellence in Public Procurement Awards Wales 2017/18.

Category registration and submissions must close on Tuesday 26th September at 5pm. Time is running out for you to enter the Awards to gain recognition and showcase your organisation’s achievements to Wales’ public procurement marketplace.

Officially supported by the Welsh Government and part of Wales’ Annual Festival of Procurement, the GO Awards Wales celebrate procurement excellence and innovation across eight categories and are open to public, private and third sector organisations.

The glittering Gala Awards Ceremony will take place on the evening of 9 November at the Mercure Cardiff Holland House Hotel.  Make sure that you and your organisation are part of the celebration.

Official Awards Host, TV/Radio presenter Mai Davies

Television/radio presenter, Mai Davies, has had an impressive career  to-date. She was, for several years, the reader of the daily Sky Television news. Mai has also presented many other television programmes, including the weekly chat show/discussion programme ‘On the Edge’ featuring high profile celebrities and prominent figures.

Mai has also had regular programmes on Radio 4; Radio 5 Live; BBC World Service and BBC Radio Wales. She was the News Editor for Red Dragon Radio – the youngest news editor in the network. Currently, Mai presents ‘Good Evening Wales’ the Radio Wales daily news programme.
