With a submission deadline of 5pm on Monday 12 September, this year’s GO Awards Scotland Judging Panel consists of key procurement figures from across the UK, including Ainslie McLaughlin, Director of Procurement and Commercial, Scottish Government; Sue Moffatt, Director, National Procurement Service, Welsh Government; and Sharon Smyth, Director of Supplies and Services Division, Central Procurement Directorate, Northern Ireland.
You can view the complete, new-look Judging Panel here, who have the task of deciding which of the many entries that are submitted for each category should go on to be Highly Commended or Winners.
The GO Awards will be held on the evening of 9 November 2016 at the Marriott Hotel in Glasgow. The Scottish Government Conference, GO Awards and Procurex Scotland Live are all part of Scotland’s Festival of Procurement, which takes place on Wednesday 9 November.
“It is the passion and commitment of procurement professionals across the Scottish public sector that has built our reputation for excellence. Recognising their endeavours and spreading word of their successes will help to drive procurement reform across Scotland. That’s why I am delighted to support the GO Awards.”
Ainslie McLaughlin, Director of Procurement and Commercial, Scottish Government
